    #unifyUSA is an inter-partisan citizens' movement dedicated to “Hitting Refresh on the U.S. Constitution” through Citizens’ Assemblies—a nationwide initiative to engage everyday Americans in shaping the future of democracy. Our mission is to empower citizens to come together beyond partisan divides and co-create constitutional reforms that reflect the needs of the 21st century.

    With a timeline leading up to a National Citizens’ Assembly in June 2026 and a ratification vote on July 4, 2026, we are building a dynamic coalition of civic leaders, grassroots organizers, and high-impact donors to support this historic effort.

    Position Summary

    #unifyUSA seeks a High Net Worth Donor Fundraiser to design and implement a targeted fundraising strategy focused on securing major gifts from high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) and philanthropic networks. This part-time position will play a pivotal role in ensuring financial sustainability for the campaign, including the National Citizens’ Assembly and the public engagement push leading up to July 4, 2026.

    The ideal candidate is an experienced fundraiser with a strong network of major donors, a passion for democratic innovation, and a talent for engaging and stewarding high-impact philanthropic relationships.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and Execute Fundraising Strategy
      • Design and implement a comprehensive HNW donor engagement and solicitation plan.
      • Set fundraising targets and create customized outreach strategies for major gift prospects.
    • Identify and Cultivate Major Donors
      • Research, identify, and cultivate relationships with high-net-worth individuals aligned with #unifyUSA’s mission.
      • Leverage personal and professional networks to expand the donor pipeline.
      • Conduct one-on-one donor outreach, meetings, and presentations.
    • Solicit and Secure Major Gifts
      • Develop compelling funding proposals, pitch decks, and personalized donor materials.
      • Lead direct asks for five-, six-, and seven-figure contributions.
      • Work with leadership to host exclusive donor events, briefings, and strategy sessions.
    • Steward and Retain Major Donors
      • Establish and maintain strong relationships through ongoing engagement, impact reporting, and personalized donor communications.
      • Design and execute recognition strategies that build long-term donor loyalty.
    • Collaborate with Leadership and Advisory Teams
      • Work closely with #unifyUSA’s founders, board, and campaign leadership to align fundraising with organizational priorities.
      • Coordinate with external partners, philanthropic advisors, and donor networks.

    Qualifications

    • Proven success in major gift fundraising, preferably in civic engagement, democracy reform, or political/philanthropic campaigns.
    • Existing network of high-net-worth individuals and philanthropic organizations.
    • Strong persuasive communication and relationship-building skills.
    • Experience crafting and delivering high-impact donor proposals and presentations.
    • Ability to work independently and drive results in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
    • Passion for civic engagement, democratic reform, and bridging political divides.

    Commitment & Compensation

    • Part-time position, with flexible hours and periodic in-person donor meetings/events.
    • Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.
