    Description

    The Citizens Crime Commission of New York City (CCC) is a nonpartisan nonprofit organization working to prevent the most extreme forms of violence in New York. The CCC’s work includes tackling gang and gun violence, illegal gun ownership, and violent extremism. Our multidisciplinary team works to convert innovative ideas into action, creating programs and policies that result in real change in our communities.

    We are seeking a part-time Paid Search Specialist with experience in managing Google Ads, Google Ads Grants, and paid ads on other platforms (i.e. Quora, Reddit, etc) to play a crucial role in the CCC’s efforts to prevent targeted and hate-based violence. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in optimizing campaigns to drive traffic and engagement across all platforms.

    Responsibilities:

    • Create, optimize, and manage Google Ads campaigns, with special emphasis on maximizing the use of a Google Ads grant
    • Develop and manage ad campaigns on Reddit and Quora to reach specific target audiences, using creative strategies and best practices
    • Assist in creating compelling ad copy that aligns with campaign goals and adheres to Google's advertising policies
    • Collaborate on design and optimization of ad creatives, including images and videos
    • Monitor campaign performance, track key metrics, and generate reports for internal stakeholders
    • Ensure optimal use of ad spend across platforms, including strict adherence to Google Ads grant requirements
    • Conduct A/B testing to identify the best-performing ads, headlines, and copy
    • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the ads are aligned with the organization’s mission

    Qualifications:

    • Proven experience managing Google Ads campaigns (Google Ads certification preferred)
    • Experience managing Google Ads grants and navigating grant-related guidelines
    • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven mindset to measure ad performance and make necessary optimizations
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
    • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Comfortable working in interdisciplinary teams (including with members of law enforcement) when necessary
