    About the Role

    NAC seeks a creative and strategic Digital Content Manager to lead our social media and digital communications efforts. This role is ideal for a skilled storyteller with a strong background in policy and advocacy, who can craft compelling content, manage digital campaigns, and enhance NAC’s online presence to advance our mission.

    The Digital Content Manager will oversee NAC’s social media channels, manage newsletters, and track performance metrics to inform future strategies. This position plays a key role in executing NAC’s digital communications strategy and supporting major yearly initiatives.

    Primary Responsibilities 

    Manage NAC's social media channels (LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Facebook)

    Draft and share social media content including copy and graphics

    Build and maintain a comprehensive social media calendar

    Develop and build digital campaigns to support key NAC priorities and programs

    Create social media toolkits to support NAC initiatives and campaigns such as Cancer Caregiving Collaborative, National Family Caregivers Month, and Caregiver Nation Summit.

    Draft copy, design layout, and distribute for our bi-weekly newsletter and blog series.

    Maintain media tracking and social media metrics for reporting on grant/funder deliverables

    Support the development of policy and advocacy relevant messaging.

    Support content development across programs including talking points, social media copy and graphics, website, etc.

    Update website, as need

    Manage external vendor relationship with web master and graphic designer

    Provide support for virtual and in-person events

    Level of Language Proficiency

    A bachelor’s degree in public policy, communications, or related field.

    Minimum 3-4 years of experience in digital content creation, social media management, or communications

    Strong writing and storytelling skills with the ability to craft compelling messages for diverse audiences

    Experience managing multiple social media platforms and scheduling tools (e.g. Sprout Social)

    Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g. Constant Contact)

    Ability to track digital analytics and use insights to inform content strategy

    Basic graphic design skills (e.g. Canva) a plus

    Experience working in health advocacy, caregiving, and nonprofit sectors a plus
