    Description

    The Nonprofit Learning Lab is a national nonprofit that trains leaders in the nonprofit sector. This role serves in a technology coordination position for our virtual events. We host about 8-10 virtual events a week. Each event runs in length of 45 minutes to an hour. The person in this position must have experience with Zoom. This position reports to the Operations Director and works in collaboration with our full team.

    Technical assistance for virtual events:

    Lead Technology Logistics: Serve as a lead technology coordinator for all live virtual events. Login 35 minutes prior to all live virtual events and provide event links to internal and external trainers for access. Remain on all live virtual events until end time.

    Trainer Support: Provide trainer prep and support for all live virtual events.

    Polls: Coordinate, implement and submit all polls in advance [3 business days prior] for all virtual events.

    Run of Show: Review and update all our virtual event Run of Shows and make any updates as necessary per your supervisor.

    Logistical Coordination of Breakout Rooms: Lead technical support for break out rooms, train other staff on breakout rooms, go unmute if needed during breakout rooms to make sure participants have the support they need for breakout rooms.

    Materials for All Virtual Events: Make sure all materials for our virtual events are uploaded to our online file storage system.

    Online Training Coordination: Assist with setting up links for all virtual events, create scripts for all virtual event based on existing script templates, send out recordings and handouts for all online trainings after event occurs

    Custom Trainings: Serve as lead tech logistics for custom trainings and provide logistical support for custom trainings

    Basic Video editing as assigned

    Website: Assistance with website support including general website editing to ensure no errors and updating website in coordination with direct supervisor including wix accessibility

    Additional: Other duties as assigned by your director supervisor or membership director. Duties, tasks and responsibilities may shift.

    Program Support:

    • Assist with responding to general emails and/or directing specific email inquiries to appropriate staff person
    • Assist with removing outdated information from our website
    • Spot check calendar to ensure there are no internal or external conflicts
    • Assist with removing outdated information from our website
    • Helping other staff with tasks and daily assignments
    • Assist in sponsorship and management of sponsor calendar and tracker

    Location: All staff at our organization must be located in or the Denver metro area in one of the following counties: Denver, Arapahoe, Douglas, Jefferson, Adams or Boulder.

    • Candidates are expected to have a high proficiency with Zoom including polls, Breakout Rooms, setting up Zoom links, troubleshooting Zoom issues
    • Experience using Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint & Excel)

    Work Environment: This is a work from home position. Individual in this position must be working in a quiet environment during working hours.

    Required Hours & Schedule: 18 hours per week. We require the person in this position to work Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday between 8:00 am - 2:00 pm or 8:00 am - 12:00 pm depending on the event schedule. Mondays from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm depending on the event schedule. Events are scheduled 2-3 months in advance so the person in this role will know their exact schedule at least 1-2 months in advance.

    Salary

    $25/hour

    Non-exempt employee

    Internet Stipend: $50 internet stipend provided. If internet is slower than 100 MBPS employer will directly pay for internet in your own home.

    Laptop: Laptop provided which must be returned to employer at end of employment

    No PTO is provided
