PURPOSE
We are looking for a Participatory Approaches Consultant, an expert on community participation and organizational partnerships, to review the current work of Amnesty Tech and the Big Tech Accountability (BTA) team.
The aims are to assess and understand Amnesty Tech's current ways of working with affected communities, to identify what best practice looks like over the next several years, and to make recommendations for a collective, sustainable plan that current team members are invested in and our partners and affected communities from diverse ethno-religious backgrounds and geographic locations are meaningfully part of.
Consultancy start and end date: This is a 25-day assignment, with an expected start of 10 January 2025.
Location: Global dependent upon the suitable consultant's location.
Deadline for all applications: 4th December 2024
Rate: £300 per day
OBJECTIVES AND DELIVERABLES:
Develop an Assessment Plan (approx. 5 days)
A. Before undertaking the assessment itself, the consultant should ensure that:

To include an assessment of our current practices in relation to working in partnership with affected communities based on:
