    Description

    St. Coletta of Wisconsin, a nonprofit leader in providing residential and vocational services to adults with developmental disabilities in southeastern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois, has an excellent opportunity for an energetic, self-motivated Foundation and Corporate Relations Coordinator.

    • Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
      • Grant Writing & Proposals:
        • Serves as a liaison to all funding foundations, agencies, and organizations.
        • Maintains primary responsibility for grant submission deadlines, schedules, and tracking, including developing and maintaining master files and Funder information in Raiser’s Edge Blackbaud.
        • Write, submit, and coordinate the grant program to corporate and foundation funders, ensuring alignment with the organization's mission and strategic goals.
        • Accurately completes grant applications and ensures timely submission within application parameters with all required supporting documents and budgets.
        • Identifies appropriate grants and corporate sponsorship opportunities, then facilitates and manages the preparation of all grants, including the annual WisDOT and IDOT transportation grants
        • Conduct research to identify new grant opportunities and funding sources within the corporate and foundation sectors.
        • Work with program staff to develop clear, compelling, and detailed grant proposals, reports, and budgets.
      • Funder Communications & Reports:
        • Develop regular communications to keep corporate and foundation partners updated on the organization’s impact, programs, and needs.
        • Prepare and submit detailed, accurate reports to funders to demonstrate the success and progress of funded projects.
        • Maintain accurate records of funder correspondence, commitments, and deliverables.
      • Event Coordination & Donor Engagement:
        • Collaborate with the events team to plan and execute fundraising events that engage corporate and foundation partners.
        • Assist in identifying potential sponsors and donors for events, ensuring that corporate and foundation partnerships are strategically integrated into fundraising efforts.
        • Attend fundraising and networking events to cultivate and steward relationships with corporate and foundation donors.
      • Presentations & Stewardship:
        • Develop presentations and materials for meetings with corporate and foundation partners, ensuring that the messaging reflects the mission and funding needs.
        • Represent the organization during tours, events, donor meetings, and speaking engagements to cultivate long-term relationships.
        • Work closely with the Director of Marketing & Fund Development to develop strategies for donor recognition, engagement, and retention.
      • Performs other work-related duties as assigned
      • Supports the strategic planning process and may assist in developing the initiatives to achieve the overall mission and vision of the organization.
      • Participates in organizational committees and meetings as appropriate.

      • Education and/or Experience:
      • Associate's Degree in communications, marketing, fund development, or related field, plus two to five years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of training or experience.
      • Language Skills:
      • The ability to effectively communicate, face to face, in writing, and/or over the telephone, with any and all internal and external stakeholders, constituents, prospects, or business partners. Ability to effectively write in a business style and in a professional manner.
      • Computer Skills:
      • Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite products and donor databases, preferably Raisers Edge. Working knowledge in research tools such as Candid and Blackbaud Analytics is preferred.
      • Mathematical Skills:
      • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
      • Reasoning Ability:
      • Ability to function in a matrix and collaborative environment. Ability to understand and apply best practices and common sense understanding to complex issues.
      • Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: None
      • Driving Requirements: This position requires that an employee be able to drive for work purposes and maintain a valid driver’s license with a past driving record that meets the agency's standards.
