    We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager of Major Gifts to join our team. This role is essential in managing a portfolio of major and planned gift prospects, developing long-term donor relationships, and supporting our philanthropic goals for the Northwest region. As part of the organization's Major Gifts team, you will collaborate with regional colleagues, share best practices, and work in a matrixed environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Build and maintain a pipeline of major gift prospects, managing the full donor relationship lifecycle from identification through solicitation and stewardship.
    • Engage donors and prospects through personalized communication, events, and face-to-face meetings.
    • Collaborate with the philanthropy team, volunteers, and the Philanthropy Committee to strategize and execute cultivation and solicitation activities.
    • Utilize research tools to assess donor interest and giving potential, integrating these insights into personalized donor strategies.
    • Maintain and manage financial data and donor information using Raiser’s Edge.
    • Develop and achieve annual revenue goals in collaboration with your supervisor.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
    • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in major gift fundraising and donor development.
    • Proven success in managing volunteer leadership and fundraising efforts.
    • Strong proficiency in MS Office, Raiser’s Edge, and donor research tools.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience in planned giving and capital campaigns.
    • Familiarity with Raiser’s Edge database management.

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage high-net-worth donors.
    • Independent problem-solving, creativity, and initiative.

    Work Environment:

    • Hybrid work schedule available.
    • Ability to occasionally navigate construction sites and manage moderate physical activity.
