    Description

    The Red Door Project, an innovative nonprofit using the power of narrative art to bridge divides, is seeking a dynamic and passionate Director of Partnerships to develop and execute the organization’s external relations strategy. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years experience in nonprofit or community based organizations with a focus on partnership development and/or sales, with experience in the criminal justice field or related sectors strongly preferred. They will add value and gain insight from a diverse team of passionate and dedicated professionals.

    Our Director of Partnerships will be responsible for creating and implementing a comprehensive partnership development strategy that includes but is not limited to:

    • Identifying, cultivating, and managing relationships with community-based organizations, criminal justice leaders, and other aligned groups.
    • Negotiating partnership agreements, MOUs, and contracts that align with RDP’s goals and values.
    • Collaborating with the product team to ensure a thriving and sustainable earned revenue stream.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum 7 years of experience in nonprofit or community-based organizations, or related fields with a focus on partnership development or sales.
    • Strong knowledge of the criminal justice system, its sectors, and how they intersect.
    • Demonstrated success in developing and managing high-impact partnerships with diverse stakeholders.

    Working Conditions

    • Hybrid; work from home and Portland-based office. (must be based in Portland area)
    • Travel as required, both local and national, to meet with partners and attend conferences.
    • Occasional evening or weekend work for events or meetings.

    Compensation

    • Annual Salary: $100,000-$125,000 based on experience.
