We have an English Middle School, Social Studies, classroom teaching position for the 2025 school year at Colegio Americano del Sur (CAS). (Our school year runs from January 6th to November 6th, 2025.) This position is available on May 12th, 2025.
Candidates must be English L1 or have a high level of English proficiency and have experience in the classroom. This position entails teaching Social Studies to 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th grade students.

- We are a bilingual, laboratory school (LAB), and utilize cutting-edge teaching strategies to meet the learning needs of each of our students.
- We strive to nurture effective communication skills, master core academic content, and engage in inquiry-based lessons.

- Project-based learning strategies are incorporated across the grade levels. We use Socratic Seminars often to engage our students and also use NEWSELA PRO to support differentiation in all classes.
- We are NEASC certified and have taken on the ACE Principles that guide this accreditation service. We believe in student voice and choice, students in charge of their learning experiences, and teachers having the role of facilitator in the learning environment.

A large house is provided for all teachers to share. Transportation costs are shared by you and us to and from school.
$1000 travel expense/$1000 bonus at the end of contract
$1000 bonus if resign a new contract.
Visa processed and paid by the school. ($800)
