    Description

    The Human Resources Manager reports to the Operations and Data Director.

    Human Resources Role and Responsibilities

    • Collaborate on recruitment and hiring of new staff with hiring managers to ensure consistent procedures, communications, and scheduling with prospective employees. Review and edit job descriptions provided by the hiring manager.
    • Assist hiring managers with the establishment of a plan for onboarding new staff members.
    • Work with the Operations Team to enroll staff in benefits and support with annual renewal of benefits: medical insurance, dental and vision insurance, 401k, Flexible Savings Account (FSA)
    • Regularly update personnel policies and procedures. Implement personnel policy and procedural upgrades using a strategic plan.
    • Facilitate regular staff evaluations.
    • Support disciplinary processes and ensure compliance with labor laws.
    • Assist with the training and development of staff.
    • Offboard staff and support teams in creating smooth transitions.
    • Support managers and staff members with conflict resolution and the creation of positive and respectful employee relations
