    Tarjimly is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2017 with the mission of eliminating language barriers for refugees, immigrants, and humanitarians. Our Tarjimly mobile app connects people in need with a global community of over 50,000 volunteer translators, offering on-demand support through chat, calls, and document translation.

    About The Role

    We are looking for a Marketing & Outreach Coordinator to help us expand our reach, engage with key stakeholders, and promote Tarjimly’s mission. This role will be pivotal in driving awareness and engagement with our translator community, NGO partners, and donors.

    You’ll work remotely as part of a small, dedicated team that values initiative, creativity, and a commitment to quality.

    Responsibilities

    Marketing & Outreach

    • Develop and execute social media strategies to boost engagement and expand reach.
    • Create and distribute monthly newsletters for translators, humanitarian aid workers, and other stakeholders.
    • Plan, execute, and evaluate outreach campaigns, including follow-ups with event leads and referrals.
    • Engage NGOs and donors through targeted marketing efforts, including meetings and tailored outreach.
    • Test and implement new promotional strategies, such as targeted LinkedIn ads, and monitor campaign performance to provide actionable insights.

    Content Creation & Event Support

    • Organize webinars, online workshops, and other events, including planning, execution, and post-event communication.
    • Maintain and update the Tarjimly website and promotional materials to ensure relevance and accuracy.
    • Write and edit blogs, case studies, and success stories highlighting NGOs, translators, and the impact of our work.

    Desired Experience & Skills

    Required:

    • Proven experience in marketing, outreach, or community management.
    • Excellent communication and writing skills, with a focus on storytelling and audience engagement.
    • Proficiency with social media platforms, email marketing tools, and analytics software.
    • Passion for humanitarian work and cross-cultural collaboration.
    • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, remote team environment.

    Preferred:

    • Experience working with nonprofits or translation services.
    • Familiarity with designing and running digital ad campaigns.
    • Event planning or coordination experience, especially in online or virtual settings.

    Employment Details

    • Contractor Position.
    • Fully Remote Position.
    • Salary range: $700 - $1000/month and benefits include 21 days PTO/year, accrued monthly
    • Full-time (40 hours/week) work. Hours are flexible but need to be responsive to messages & emails during EST working hours.
    • Mandatory Team Meetings: Tuesdays & Thursdays 11am EST (3pm GMT), twice monthly planning 11am EST (3pm GMT).
