    Description

    Purpose of Position:

    Manage and maintain systems and data that support critical functions of CPHI and continuing education and community engagement programs and events, including with the Joint School of Public Health

    Core Responsibilities:

    • Data collection and management
    • System administration, management, and maintenance
    • Develops, prepares, and maintains system and data reports
    • Conducts research and analysis and organizes data and information
    • Comply with university, federal and state laws, policies, rules and regulations
    • Provide system and user support
    • Develops and maintains reporting tools
    • Facilitates meetings and workshops
    • KSA’s and or Competencies required to successfully perform the work:
    • o Effective interpersonal and communication skills
    • o Strong in:
    • ▪ Information systems, computer science, or database management
    • ▪ Diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues
    • ▪ Data visualization and data quality assurance
    • o Superior analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills
    • o Demonstrated working knowledge of:
    • ▪ Microsoft Office Suite and database management
    • ▪ Applicable federal and state regulations and policies and procedures
    • o Demonstrated ability to effectively:
    • ▪ Organize and parse data
    • ▪ Interpret data findings
    • ▪ Manage multiple projects in a changing and high-paced environment
    • o Mastery of project management tools and techniques

    Minimum Qualifications

    • A bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science or a related field or an equivalent combination of education, training and professional experience
    • At least two (2) years of experience collecting and analyzing data or managing systems

    Additional Considerations

    • Considerable knowledge of information systems, computer science, or database management
    • Technical and troubleshooting skills
    • Training in public health
