    Dress for Success® Houston (DFS Houston) is seeking a dedicated and solutions-oriented Program Manager who is passionate about empowering women to thrive in work and life. The ideal candidate will lead with a collaborative spirit, manage a team of 2 direct reports, and bring expertise in adult learning and development. This role requires a strategic thinker who thrives in a dynamic environment and is committed to driving meaningful impact through professional and personal development programs.

    Program Oversight and Implementation:

      • Develop, implement, and drive the annual program calendar, ensuring alignment with DFS Houston’s mission.
      • Manage and oversee the following core programs:
      • Professional Women’s Group (PWG) Career Development Workshops: 2-4 per month.
      • Financial Literacy Programs: Boot Camps, 13-week 1.0 program, and 8-week 2.0 program.
      • Legal Literacy Programs: Informative legal workshops and Will Clinics.
      • Mentoring Programs: Annual 4-part preparation series and 9-month mentor program
      • Coordinate event logistics, including planning, staffing, setup, and troubleshooting.
      • Conduct regular program audits to ensure consistency and identify opportunities for improvement.
      • Manage the overall curriculum offerings to ensure they are relevant and relatable.
      • Track and report program metrics and trends quarterly.

    Leadership and Team Management

    • Lead, coach, and develop the PWG team, fostering a collaborative and mission-driven culture.
    • Serve as a role model for professionalism, demonstrating dignity and respect in all interactions.
    • Recruit, onboard, and retain volunteer speakers to enhance program offerings.
    • Provide general administrative and organizational support.

    Stakeholder Engagement

    • Build and maintain relationships with program presenters, volunteers, and clients.
    • Represent DFS Houston in a professional and polished manner at meetings, events, and community functions.

    General Administration and Organization Support:

    • Fill in as Program Logistics and Front Desk on as needed basis.
    • Give tours of Dress for Success Houston on an as needed basis.
    • Assist with special events on an as needed basis.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
    • Minimum of 5 years as a people leader with proven success in team development.
    • Expertise in adult learning, educational design, and program implementation.
    • Experience in organizing and delivering career training and professional development programs.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, CRM database (Salesforce preferred), and Zoom.
    • Ability to multi-task with high attention to detail while aligning with broader organizational goals.
    • Capacity to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds with a calm, professional demeanor.
    • Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
    • Able to lift 40 pounds.

    Working Conditions

    • Monday through Friday on-site, with flexible start time for scheduling (full-time at 35 hours). Must be able to work regular evenings and weekends for programs and agency events, approximately six per year.
