    Description

    Key Responsibilities

    Lead, recruit, train, supervise, and support Ombudsman staff and volunteers to ensure comprehensive coverage of Napa County long-term care (LTC) facilities.

      • Coordinate complaint investigations and collaborate with licensing agencies and law enforcement as needed.
      • Ensure program adherence to confidentiality standards, training requirements, and emergency response protocols.
      • Serve as liaison between the local LTCOP, OSLTCO, and other relevant agencies and organizations.
      • Collect and report program data; ensure contract and budget compliance.
      • Monitor and advocate on laws, regulations, and policies impacting LTC residents.
      • Resolve internal program issues and address complaints involving LTCOP representatives.

    Qualifications:

      • Experience in program management, volunteer supervision, or nonprofit leadership.
      • Knowledge of gerontology, LTC services, and related laws and regulations.
      • Strong commitment to advocating for the rights and well-being of older adults.
