Description
Key Responsibilities
Lead, recruit, train, supervise, and support Ombudsman staff and volunteers to ensure comprehensive coverage of Napa County long-term care (LTC) facilities.
- Coordinate complaint investigations and collaborate with licensing agencies and law enforcement as needed.
- Ensure program adherence to confidentiality standards, training requirements, and emergency response protocols.
- Serve as liaison between the local LTCOP, OSLTCO, and other relevant agencies and organizations.
- Collect and report program data; ensure contract and budget compliance.
- Monitor and advocate on laws, regulations, and policies impacting LTC residents.
- Resolve internal program issues and address complaints involving LTCOP representatives.
Qualifications:
- Experience in program management, volunteer supervision, or nonprofit leadership.
- Knowledge of gerontology, LTC services, and related laws and regulations.
- Strong commitment to advocating for the rights and well-being of older adults.
