The UDW Resource Center (URC) is a dynamic nonprofit workers center that provides organizing support, training and education with caregivers in the public and private sectors throughout California. URC is a space for these workers to organize themselves for better wages and working conditions, to change the care economy to benefit all Californians, and to organize for social, racial, and economic justice. We are dedicated to promoting the dignity and wellbeing of caregivers through leadership development, education, and material support such as food, housing, and healthcare. This program seeks a highly motivated individual with experience in immigration law, including extensive work with immigration forms and procedures such as N-400, I-765, and I-90 (specifically fee waivers), to work with us to start our Gateway to Citizenship Initiative that will help care workers apply for citizenship, residency, and employment authorization renewals all around the state. For more information about URC, please visit our website at www.udwresourcecenter.org.
