    The National Digital Inclusion Alliance (NDIA) seeks a dedicated and diligent Senior Grants Financial Manager experienced in federal grant management and bookkeeping, skilled in overseeing processes, ensuring compliance with regulations, and managing financial systems to support organizational goals. The ideal candidate for this position is committed to maintaining transparency, fiscal accountability, and operational excellence to further the mission of nonprofit organizations.     Since 2015, NDIA has led and built the digital equity community throughout the US, and in turn, created a growing movement. NDIA supports digital inclusion practitioners with networking and community building, platforms to establish and share best practices, guidebooks, and tools that establish standards for digital inclusion programming.

    NDIA continues to expand the digital inclusion field and increase awareness of the digital divide, prioritizing communities and populations that have been most impacted, including Black people, Indigenous people, other people of color, low-income households, women, older adults, people with disabilities, and individuals living in rural communities.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Grant Administration and Compliance:
      • Ensure the organization remains compliant with requirements specified within the Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards at 2 C.F.R.Part 200
      • Support the effective implementation of funded projects, including financial management, cost and expenditure monitoring and allocation, progress reporting, procurement, and adherence to grantor guidelines.
      • Assist in the preparation of federal audits.
      • Stay current on any changes to federal compliance and regulations pertaining to NDIA’s federal grants.
      • Oversee compliance of subgrantees, including creating templates and guides, and reviewing submitted reports
    • Bookkeeping and Operational Support
      • Ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standards
      • Monitor daily expenditures to ensure compliance with and allocations to approved budgets
      • Assist in the preparation of annual financial audits and Form 990 submissions
      • Oversee Accounts Receivable
      • Collaborate with the operations team to streamline policies and procedures
      • Assist in event planning as necessary

    Requirements

    • Federal grants compliance experience
    • Experience with Quickbooks Online
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to prioritize multiple high-priority tasks while working with limited supervision in an all-remote environment
    • 5% Travel - this position will require travel 2 - 3 times a year, including Net Inclusion and NDIA’s annual team retreat
