    SUMMARY

    The Senior Development Manager plays a crucial role in the fundraising efforts of Her Justice. This position is responsible for raising critical funds from individuals, corporations, and foundations, with a focus on cultivating and stewarding relationships with individual donors to ensure long-term support for Her Justice’s mission.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Manage a portfolio of 75-100 individual, corporate, and foundation donors and prospects in the $5,000-25,000 range.
    • Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward donors and prospects in alignment with Her Justice’s strategic goals, with a focus on growing our pipeline of individual support.
    • Partner with the Director of Development to develop strategies and raise funds from the legal sector and ensure the critical success of the organization’s fall campaign and annual Benefit.
    • Prepare compelling grant proposals, reports, and other materials as needed for donor cultivation and stewardship.
    • Collaborate with the Director of Development and other staff to develop donor engagement opportunities.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with donors through personalized communications, meetings, and events.

    • Experienced fundraising strategist. You have a proactive and strategic approach to fundraising, with a proven track record of success. You understand best practices in fundraising campaigns. You are results-oriented and data-driven, and you bring creative ideas for donor engagement.
    • Enthusiastic team player. You’re ready to jump in to help your teammates refine an idea, track down information they need, or push a project over the finish line. You’re a collaborator who contributes positively to team dynamics through your energy and ideas.
    • Avid learner and advocate. You're curious about the ins and outs of Her Justice’s legal services and policy work, and you’re passionate about our mission.     QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s degree required.
    • 5-7 years of relevant experience. Experience in a legal environment a plus.
    • Proven track record of success raising funds from individuals, with increasing responsibility. Track record of success with foundations, corporations, and/or event-based fundraising a plus.
    • Expertise in donor management software (CRM) and other fundraising tools, experience with Raiser’s Edge preferred. Proficient in Microsoft suite products.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT

    • Hybrid with one day a week in office (subject to change based on business needs).
    • Some evening or weekend travel required for events as needed.

    SALARY: The salary for this position is in the range of $78,950 to $98,687, depending on experience. Her Justice also offers excellent benefits, including 26 days of PTO, a 401k plan, commuter benefits, half-day summer Fridays, and employer-sponsored medical, dental, and vision benefits
