    About Triumph Foundation: Triumph Foundation's mission is to help children, adults, and veterans with Spinal Cord Injury/Disorder (SCI) to triumph over obstacles they face and to inspire them to keep moving forward with their lives by pushing themselves to get better every day.

    Triumph Foundation provides resources, hope and security to people living with paralysis – both just initially when the injury occurs, and as a lifelong support network. We are the go-to organization for people living with mobility impairments in Southern California.

    Job Description: Triumph Foundation is seeking a motivated and organized individual to join our team as an Administrative Assistant. As an integral member of our organization, you will work closely with the Executive Director to ensure the day-to-day success of Triumph Foundation's operations. The Administrative Assistant will oversee various administrative tasks, coordinate programs, collaborate with staff to develop policies and procedures, and maintain relationships with partners, volunteers, and supporters.

    Key Responsibilities:

      • Assist in overseeing day to day operations of the organization.
      • Provide administrative support to the Executive Director and staff of the Foundation (note taking, data entry, filing, email communication, meeting minutes, etc.).
      • Develop systemized methods for managing the Foundation's various outreach activities and events in collaboration with the Executive Director.
      • Oversee maintenance and updates of the organization's website and marketing materials to effectively communicate and increase awareness of Triumph Foundation's mission and programs.
      • Coordinate projects, ensuring they are executed according to schedule, and communicate with different teams and staff members to follow up on project statuses.
      • Collaborate with the Executive Director to create written content for regular newsletters distribution.
      • Interact, schedule and supervise staff/volunteers as needed.
      • Represent Triumph Foundation at community, industry and professional events.
      • Assist in warehouse with managing inventories.
      • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Skills & Experience:

    • Excellent typing and note-taking skills.
    • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced team setting.
    • Resourceful and self-motivated individual with ability to prioritize and multitask effectively to accomplish tasks.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Bilingual preferred.
    • Experience in program development and planning.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work collaboratively with staff, volunteers, donors and supporters, and community partners.
    • Comfortable working in a small office setting.

    Requirements:

    • Commitment to the mission and values of the Foundation, passion and knowledge of spinal cord injury, and/or previous volunteer experience helping people with disabilities and their families.
    • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field (preferred).
    • Own laptop computer with sufficient hardware, fluency with basic desktop computing, database management, and software (MS Office – Word, Excel, Dropbox, etc.).
    • Type over 40+ words per minute accurately.
    • Dependable and reliable vehicle for travel to office, meetings, and events.

    Certifications/Licenses:

    Valid California driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

    Background check administered by the organization.
