Integrity House operates 16 licensed treatment programs across New Jersey as well as community outreach and prevention programs, and serves over 3,000 individuals every year. Integrity House seeks a Development Coordinator passionate about promoting healthcare access and community wellness. The Development Coordinator is Responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing executing fundraising events and supporting donor prospecting, cultivation, and stewardship activities, the individual in this role advances Integrity House’s mission and strategic goals by securing financial support and building lasting relationships with donors and partners. . This is a full-time, exempt position, and typical work hours are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Evening hours may occasionally be required, particularly during event season. This is primarily an in-person role, however hybrid arrangements may be considered for the right candidate.

    Reporting to the Development Manager, the Development Coordinator has the following responsibilities:

    Events:

    • Manage logistics, including venue selection, food services, permits, volunteer coordination, vendor management, and contingency planning for fundraising events such as the Gala, Charity Classic, and Integrity Day.
    • Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring reduced costs and achievement of net profit targets.
    • Solicit sponsorships and in-kind donations for events by cultivating relationships with local businesses and other potential sponsors.
    • Lead internal and external event volunteer committees.
    • Coordinate and plan virtual education series in collaboration with Development and Marketing staff.
    • Develop new event concepts that align with Integrity House’s strategic goals and brand.
    • Collaborate with the Development Manager to evaluate event success and inform improvements for future events.

    Corporate & Individual Giving

    • Build and maintain a pipeline of corporate and individual donor prospects.
    • Support cultivation and stewardship activities through communications and personalized engagement strategies.
    • Contribute to the development of annual giving activities, including direct mail and digital fundraising campaigns.
    • Organize meetings, site visits, and presentations to showcase the organization’s impact and engage donors.
    • Maintain Integrity House’s CRM database, ensuring accuracy of data.
    • Manage the identification, receipt, and acknowledgement of in-kind gifts.

    General

    • Remain informed about developments in substance use disorder prevention, treatment, and recovery; mental health; recovery supports, and harm reduction to inform relationship development activities.
    • Remain informed about emerging and best practices in fundraising and nonprofit development.
    • Participate in and contribute to other Development-related initiatives.

    Required Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree.
    • 3+ years of experience in fundraising or development at nonprofit organizations.
    • Proven success in planning and executing fundraising events.

    Specialized Skills, Abilities and Knowledge:

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail.
    • Experience with digital fundraising platforms and social media campaigns.
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with donors, community partners, trustees, senior leadership team members, and program managers/directors.
    • Familiarity with Bloomerang or other CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce, Raiser’s Edge, etc.).
    • Knowledge of a range of corporate engagement strategies.
    • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
    • Understanding of all aspects of the donor cycle (i.e., prospecting, cultivation, and stewardship).
    • Interest in and understanding of substance use disorder, mental health, recovery, and/or public health.

    Schedule:

    • 8 hour shift
    • Monday to Friday
    • No weekends
