    Description

    Founded in 1981, the Cooperative for Human Services Inc, a multi-service organization providing residential services, independent living supports, and guardianship services for people with intellectual and other related disabilities. Our mission is to empower, support, and expand the knowledge, skill, and natural capacities of the people we serve to direct and live full and meaningful lives within their community.

    We are seeking compassionate residential services leader(s) to join our residential programs team as a Division Manager! This key role involves overseeing multiple residential programs for adults with various disabilities. Our Division Managers monitor service quality, oversee internal case management systems, provide regular programmatic oversight in the areas of medication administration, budgeting (program & individuals funds), clinical supports, healthcare coordination, etc.

    The Division Manager will provide direct supervision and support to assigned Program Director(s), Program Coordinator(s) and Residential Program team(s) while acting as an advocate for persons served and their families. Will monitor service quality, provide regular oversight and ensure compliance with all related systems including ISP, medication administration, financial, clinical, healthcare, etc. Provide 24-hour on-call support and assistance to assigned programs and services. Will assist in creating person-centered, supportive learning environments that safeguard and enhance the lives of the people served while upholding the organization’s mission, philosophy and values.

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Provide direction, leadership and supervision to all direct reports, programs & services and ensure accountability while encouraging creativity and enthusiasm for all direct reports.
    • Oversee the coordination of the CHS clinical, healthcare, case management, etc. systems and practices, including the implementation of the ISP process and other organizational processes. Advocate on behalf of each person served. Participate in transition planning for both intakes into services and discharges from services.
    • Oversee, manage & coordinate the operations, systems & services of all assigned programs while monitoring for excellent quality and ensuring compliance with established service standards.
    • Monitor all fiscal and budgetary requirements and obligations and participate in the development of program budgets.

    • Provide 24-hr emergency on-call support and assistance to assigned programs and services.
    • Generate and provide statistical and narrative reports on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis such as program evaluation measures, consumer assessments, family assessments, utilization/capacity, grievances, incidents, and provide written reports as required.
    • Oversee and ensure the provision of training and professional development for all assigned employees in assigned programs and services.
    • Oversee the all data collection processes and ensure the accuracy and integrity of information collected and reported.
    • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations as well as the policies and procedures of CHS Inc.

    Qualifications/Required Skills:

    • Graduate Degree Preferred; Bachelor's Degree may be substituted for relevant work experience in a related human service field
    • Five (5) years of experience supporting people with developmental disabilities
    • Current First Aid and CPR Certification
    • MAP (Medication Administration Program) certification required
    • Excellent & effective verbal and written communication skills, demonstrated supervisory skills, knowledge of community-based supports.
    • Personal commitment to service quality and excellence.
    • A valid Massachusetts/New Hampshire/Rhode Island driver's license, reliable vehicle and good driving history record.
    • Demonstrates a high degree of organizational skill and time management for multiple competing priorities
    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
    • Ability to utilize excellent judgment in developing sound solutions and problem solving.
    • Must be able to lift 30 pounds
    • Ability to understand and comply with multiple regulatory requirements
