With $66 million in revenue in 2024, Multiplier is seeking a colleague to join our team in the position of Agreements Officer, and we are poised to hire immediately. The Agreements Officer will play a key role in advising and supporting our portfolio of 50 projects in key contracting functions ranging from professional services agreements to complex funding and collaboration contracts. This role will directly support the organization in ensuring compliance with organizational policies, streamlining the contract management processes, and providing prompt assistance to our projects in efficiently executing contracts to maximize their impact. The Agreements Officer will also collaborate closely with the Director of Grants Stewardship and the Senior Manager for Government Grants & Compliance.
Position Summary:
Multiplier’s Agreements Officer will be the first point of contact for project team inquiries related to agreements and will be responsible for ensuring that related timelines, requirements, and processes are met. The Agreements Officer will draft, review, negotiate and provide guidance on agreements, ensuring that they are clear in terms and in alignment with project goals and organizational standards.
While initially focused on agreements for services, the Agreements Officer will also have the opportunity to cross-train to support a broader range of agreements, including those related to incoming revenue and outgoing grant agreements. This role will be pivotal in ensuring consistency across all agreement review related activities of the organization.
The Agreements Officer will support the Director of Contracts in ensuring that Multiplier’s contract lifecycle management is streamlined, secure, and capable of supporting the organization’s continued growth. The role requires a proactive and collaborative mindset, positioning the team as a trusted partner to Multiplier’s leadership and project teams in moving their operational success and impactful outcomes forward.

The Ideal Candidate:
You are a detail-oriented and proactive professional with a strong understanding of agreements and contracts. While a deep understanding of contract law is essential, a law degree is not required; instead, strong practical experience in contract management, procurement, and legal negotiation is essential to thrive in this role.
You are highly collaborative and possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to liaise effectively with project teams and other Multiplier departments while providing clear, actionable advice. You excel in building strong relationships and are known for your consultative approach, focused on fostering trust and mutual respect. You enjoy working independently as well as collaboratively, managing multiple tasks and priorities with a high level of organization. A curious mindset and eagerness to expand your knowledge and expertise in other types of agreements, such as those related to incoming revenue and outgoing grants, sets you apart.
