Job Title: Program Finance Manager
Department: Legal, Organizing, & Advocacy
Unit: Program Administration & Evaluation
Reports to: Deputy Director of LOA (primary), Director of Finance (supplementary)
FLSA Status: Exempt
Hours: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm
Work Model: This is a hybrid position, requiring in person work 1-2 times per week at the main office
in Manhattan.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Program Finance Manager serves as the primary point of contact and liaison between Finance and Program staff to facilitate timely and accurate contribution to critical Finance functions including staff and expense allocations, monthly close, periodic review/sharing of financial reporting, and ultimately development of an annual budget and periodic reforecasts. It is focused on administration and information organization to ensure timely data collection and flow between program and finance, so all team members have the content they need to make informed decisions.
This position’s primary supervisor is the Deputy Director of LOA and it will receive functional matrix supervision from the Controller for technical finance issues.

QUALIFICATIONS
BENEFITS: NMIC offers a generous benefits package including medical, dental, life, and disability insurance; paid time off consisting of 20 vacation days, 15 sick days, 5 personal days, 11 agency holidays, plus the week off from Christmas Eve through New Year's Day; a 401k with agency contribution; and other benefits.
SALARY: $75,000 annually
