      • Coordinate, design, draft, and send quarterly updates and other electronic communications via Mailchimp.
      • Generate our social media content and strategy to grow our audience, especially on Twitter, LinkedIn, and Facebook.
      • Manage the promotion of our publications and events, including scheduling the release of a variety of content.

    • Contribute to program discussions and event planning, including managing virtual events.
    • Maintain our internal communications systems (e.g. Mailchimp, Airtable, Zoom, Google Docs, Rev, Canva, and Monday).

    Qualifications:

Below is a list of ideal qualifications that would prepare you for this role, but if you do not match all of the skills required we still encourage you to apply.

    • 2-5 years experience planning and executing communications strategies across channels for progressive organizations, non-profits, political organizations, or similar.
    • Experience managing email campaigns, through a mailing system (e.g. Mailchimp, Constant Contact, etc.) and/or in listservs.
    • Experience managing social media accounts, especially Twitter and Facebook, and growing social media presence.

    • Strong interest in, or knowledge of, global progressive and feminist politics.
    • Friendly demeanor and collaborative spirit, able to both give and receive feedback openly.
    • Ability to multitask and switch between projects.
    • Exceptional communication and editing skills, and attention to detail.
    • Language abilities are desirable, especially Arabic, French, or Spanish.
