The position is part of the program coordination team of a multi-country program on the Right to adequate Food in Africa. The program is implemented in four countries: Ethiopia, Kenya, Malawi and Zimbabwe. It aims at enhancing the governance of the right to adequate food for rural communities by increasing government transparency, strengthening public accountability, and ensuring that the voices of the most marginalized are heard in policy processes.
As Capacity Development and Learning Advisor you will coordinate the capacity development and cross-country learning component of the program, program monitoring, evaluation and reporting and support overall program management. You will strengthen the capacities of partner organizations and civil society networks on topics such as social accountability, advocacy, and adaptive management and support in building linkages with actors beyond the program to share experiences, promote mutual learning and joint advocacy. The capacity development and learning component will be implemented with the support of an external service provider and in close coordination with the Program Coordinator.
