    Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy began as a grassroots advocacy group that helped ensure the creation of what is now the world-class Brooklyn Bridge Park. As the Park’s chief programming partner, the Conservancy welcomes more than 130,000 visitors annually to 500 free and low-cost environmental education, recreation, and arts and culture programs.

    POSITION OVERVIEW

    Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy is seeking a dynamic and strategic fundraiser to serve as Corporate and Foundation Relations Manager. This full-time role is a key position within a highly collaborative, five-member Development team, responsible for leading efforts to grow corporate and foundation giving, securing major funding to support the Conservancy’s mission.

    The Manager will focus on identifying and cultivating new institutional funders, strengthening existing partnerships, and developing compelling proposals that drive investment in the Conservancy’s programming and initiatives.     RESPONSIBILITIES

    Fundraising & Relationship Management

    • Manage and expand a portfolio of corporate and foundation donors, driving institutional revenue growth.
    • Develop and implement targeted cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies to deepen funder engagement.
    • Secure new corporate and foundation gifts, with an emphasis on multi-year commitments.
    • Create compelling grant proposals, reports, and sponsorship materials tailored to funders’ interests.
    • Oversee corporate partnerships, including cause marketing, event sponsorships, and employee engagement initiatives.
    • Collaborate with program and communications teams to align funding opportunities with organizational priorities and craft customized impact reports.

    Corporate Volunteer Engagement

    • Lead revenue generation efforts for corporate volunteer programs in collaboration with the Volunteer Manager.
    • Develop strategies to expand corporate volunteer participation and convert engagement into long-term financial support.

    Grant Writing & Prospect Research

    • Identify and research prospective corporate and foundation funders aligned with the Conservancy’s mission.
    • Develop and submit high-quality grant applications, ensuring timely reporting and renewals.
    • Maintain accurate records of funder communications, deadlines, and reporting requirements in the donor database.
    • Track and analyze fundraising performance, adjusting strategies as needed to meet revenue goals.

    Event & Sponsorship Engagement

    • Drive corporate sponsorship growth for flagship events, including the Black Tie Ball and Women’s Lunch, by developing customized activation and engagement opportunities.
    • Ensure sponsorship deliverables are met, including recognition, engagement opportunities, and reporting.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • 3-5 years experience in corporate and/or foundation relations.
    • Experience securing institutional gifts in the five-and-six figure levels and stewarding corporate and foundation donors.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive grant proposals and sponsorship pitches.
    • Knowledge of corporate philanthropy, foundation funding cycles, and nonprofit financials.
    • Proficiency with donor databases (Bloomerang, Raiser’s Edge, or similar CRM).
    • Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
    • Familiarity with New York City's corporate and foundation landscape is strongly preferred.
    • Passion for parks, public spaces, and community engagement is a plus.
