Through our advocacy and support efforts, we enhance education, care delivery, and quality of life for people living with PSP, CBD, and MSA and their families.     About the role:

    CurePSP is seeking a motivated and passionate Junior Graphic Designer (Part-Time) to help support our Marketing and Communications Team, reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications, in the production of visual assets for CurePSP. Working within the brand guidelines and toolkit, this position works closely with the Director of Marketing and Communications to service the design needs for our team and organization.     Primary Functions:

    Create visually compelling (print & digital) assets and prep final production files for various visual touch points including but not limited to:

    1.Educational Resource Design & Branding

    • Lead design of CurePSP’s expanding library of educational resources (fact sheets, booklets, and other materials) under direction of Director of marketing and communications.
    • Design visually engaging and accessible print and digital materials to support education and awareness.
    • Ensure all resource designs align with the organization's evolving brand identity.

    2.Social Media & Digital Content Creation

    • Develop compelling graphics for social media, ensuring consistency with CurePSP’s brand guidelines.
    • Design visuals for digital campaigns, email marketing, and website updates.
    • Create infographics and animations to enhance storytelling and engagement.
    • Creating graphics and visual elements to enhance readability and engagement.

    3.Event Branding & Asset Development

    • Design and develop brand identities for CurePSP’s in-person and virtual events.
    • Support the Events Department by creating all necessary assets, including signage, programs, presentations and digital promotions.
    • Ensure event branding is cohesive across all touchpoints.

    4.Website & UX Design

    • Design graphics for the CurePSP website, ensuring a seamless user experience.
    • Optimize layouts and visual elements for clarity, accessibility, and engagement.
    • Maintain consistency in design across all digital platforms.

    5.Template Development & Brand Standardization

    • Develop user-friendly design templates for internal and external organizational use.
    • Establish guidelines to maintain brand integrity across all materials.
    • Provide design support and recommendations for various departments to ensure a cohesive visual identity.

    6.Production & File Preparation

    • Create final production files for print and digital distribution.
    • Work with printers and vendors to ensure high-quality production of materials.
    • Manage and organize design assets efficiently for team accessibility.
    • Design materials that are accessible to people with visual challenges.

    Required Skills:

    • A college or similar higher-education degree
    • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Acrobat Pro
    • Proficient in Microsoft (Word, Powerpoint, and Excel) and Google (Docs, Slides, and Sheets)
    • Experience with prepress files and preparing files for print
    • Strong understanding of the difference between digital & print file set up and save out
    • Ability to organize and package artwork files for team hand off
    • Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout composition
    • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
    • Can-do, proactive attitude
    • Strong time management skills
    • Ability to multitask while maintaining a keen eye for details
    • Eager to learn and further develop their design skills
    • Receives and implements constructive critique well
    • Strong problem-solving skills
    • Excellent communication skills
    • 2-3 years design experience
