    Who We Are

CROP (Creating Restorative Opportunities and Programs) is an Oakland-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to reimagining reentry through a holistic and human-centered model. Driven by innovative approaches to education, advocacy, housing, personal leadership development, and workforce pathways, CROP works to reduce recidivism and create opportunities for justice-impacted individuals. Founded by leaders with direct lived experience in the criminal justice system, CROP’s programs aim to transform lives and communities.

    What You’ll Do

The Reentry Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting participants throughout their journey in CROP’s Ready 4 Life program and beyond. • Create and implement program exit plans with participants transitioning out of the program

    CASE MANAGEMENT & PARTICIPANT PROGRESS

    • Administer relevant risk needs strengths assessments and develop comprehensive reentry plans to implement through course of program
    • Manage participant caseload to provide stabilization services and promote employment and housing retention
    • Create monthly progress reports documenting participant achievements and challenges
    • Coordinate all participant schedules including approval of travel, overnight and weekend passes, coordination of participant work schedules, and notification of changes to employment
    • Provide guidance and encouragement toward employment pathways aligned with program career tracks
    • Deliver ongoing support across program groups, addressing service needs and facilitating warm hand-offs
    • Lead team case conferencing meetings and collaborate with other support service teams across the organization
    • Ensure program participants maintain compliance with parole requirements, rules, and guidelines, including but not limited to understanding parole requirements and facilitating or coordinating parole required classes for participants
