    SUMMARY:

    Bottomless Closet is currently recruiting a Program Coordinator – Client Services.

    Bottomless Closet is a 501(c)(3) whose mission is to inspire and guide disadvantaged New York City women to enter the workforce and achieve success. Comprehensive services include the selection and provision of high-quality interview attire, 1:1 resume review/preparation and interview coaching, as well as a broad workshop curriculum that promotes professional development, financial management, digital literacy, and personal enrichment. We facilitate entrance into the workforce, build core competencies for workplace success, increase self-confidence and self-esteem, and transform women’s vision of their potential. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and experiences, including women who are on public assistance, formerly incarcerated, single mothers, domestic violence survivors, and women living in shelters. Over 25 years, we have helped nearly 50,000 clients by providing our services free of charge to help them on their path to self-sufficiency.

    SUMMARY:

    Bottomless Closet is currently recruiting a Program Coordinator – Client Services. This individual will be responsible for ensuring a welcoming environment for clients, volunteers, and guests as they arrive at our office. Provide on-going support and guidance to clients on Bottomless Closet services and on-going services/programming.

    PROGRAMMING

    Client Services:

    • Responsible for providing a welcoming environment for all clients, volunteers, and visitors.
    • Responsible for processing all tasks associated with client appointments: client check-in, paperwork, data entry.
    • Responsible for pairing clients and volunteers for appointments.
    • Share appropriate appointment information and consult with volunteer to support a smooth flow for the client appointment.
    • Responsible for tasks associated with client exit process including client survey, reminder of services, etc.
    • Provide support in boutique and handle client appointments as needed to insure smooth appointment flow.
    • Secure, where possible, client photos and quotes for development and social media use.
    • Maintain accurate and updated client information in database, run reports as required.

    Educational Curriculum/Workshops:

    • Build workshops within system for client registration.
    • Process all client registration requests for workshops, answer questions, troubleshoot problems.
    • Track workshop attendance.
    • Support any additional needs for virtual and on-site programs.

    COMMUNICATION

    • Contribute client stories, articles, quotes, and photos as they are available.

    Other tasks, projects and responsibilities as requested by the Program Director.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bi-Lingual English/Spanish
    • 2 years’ experience working in an administrative role.
    • Strong interpersonal communication skills (written and verbal); desire to work collaboratively with staff, volunteers, and clients a must.
    • Highly organized and accustomed to prioritizing and accomplishing a variety of tasks, projects, and responsibilities simultaneously in a busy work environment.
    • Comfort with performing work independently while adhering to directions and timelines, sharing any challenges or updates.
    • Self-starter with positive attitude and ability to work in fast paced and flexible environment.
    • Fast learner, with special appreciation for human services and nonprofits including commitment to Bottomless Closet’s mission.
    • Desire to work with diverse populations.
    • Understanding of and ability to maintain professional boundaries.
    • Proficiency with MS Office and strong data entry skills required. Database experience required; Raiser’s Edge, Net Community proficiency is preferred.
    • Strong organizational skills and detailed oriented.

    The Program Coordinator – Client Services position is Full Time (40 hours per week) and reports directly to the Program Director. Currently, the position is a combination of in-office and remote with the shift to more in-office as business needs require.

    SALARY RANGE: $48,000-$50,000 commensurate with experience.
