    Description

Our Mission: Project Invent empowers students with 21st-century skills to succeed individually and impact globally, through invention.

Our Vision: A generation of fearless, compassionate problem solvers.

Classrooms today aren’t preparing our students for the future. Project Invent is a national nonprofit empowering middle and high school students across the country to invent technologies for social impact. We train educators in design thinking, engineering, and entrepreneurship to lead students through identifying real problems in their communities and inventing impactful technology solutions. At the end of the year, students pitch their inventions to investors and tech leaders at our Demo Day events. Since 2018, we've grown from one to 70 schools across the country and 70% of our trained educators teach in low-income serving schools.

In 2025, we are growing our impact to 2,000 students nationwide. A critical and exciting aspect of our program pairs working professionals directly with students through volunteer opportunities to support them as they build empathy, brainstorm ideas, build physical prototypes, and pitch their products to a panel of judges. As the Corporate Partnerships & Volunteer Manager, you will play a pivotal role as you lead recruitment of volunteers from both corporate groups and the community, while also securing corporate sponsorships and partnerships to support Project Invent’s mission. This individual will work closely with diverse stakeholders to provide impactful volunteer experiences and establish meaningful corporate relationships.

Project Invent is building a culturally diverse team committed to working and thriving in a multicultural environment where differences are valued and respected. Women, minorities, individuals with disabilities, veterans, and intersectional individuals are highly encouraged to apply. We are a remote-first team and are happy to accept candidates from anywhere in the U.S. Team members typically work 9AM-5PM hours in their respective time zones with occasional evening and weekend commitments. This is a full-time, salaried position for a candidate excited about being a key contributor to a fast-growing organization.
