    TNP serves community organizations across Southern California with a focus on Long Beach, the South Bay and the Gateway Cities.

    Summary of Position:

    The Operations Manager is responsible for the overall administrative operations of TNP. As a vital member of the team, they provide leadership in the areas of office management, system administration, technology, and accounting, while providing operational support for project management and membership.

    • Provide support to Board of Directors;
    • Support Executive Director in Human Resources management, policy development, and other operational needs.
    • Supervise Accounting Coordinator to ensure accurate monthly financial reconciliation;
    • Partner with Directors and Program Managers to customize support services, manage budgets, and contracting. And implement systems to support these activities.
    • Support annual audit/s and 990 filing.
    • Track and manage vendor contracts and communications;
    • Oversight of website design, project management, website systems functionality. Manage automatic systems responses, training of staff, suggest solutions, and oversee project implementation, and on-going maintenance.
    • Leadership role in membership relations including, but not limited to: managing internal systems, responses, membership portal on website, and collaborate with the team to develop meaningful engagements to retain and attract members.
    • Act as an ambassador for TNP.

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent years of experience required;
    • Strong understanding of nonprofit operations, including fundraising, grant management, and compliance with regulatory requirements;
    • Excellent organizational and leadership skills are essential, along with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.;
    • Experience in managing budgets, analyzing financial reports, and implementing cost-saving measures;
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also crucial for building relationships with stakeholders, volunteers, and staff members;
    • Ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing community or team needs;
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
    • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook, Accounting Software (QuickBooks Online), Website (WordPress), CRM (Salesforce).
