    Position Description (Part-Time, 30 hours/week, Hybrid/Flexible)

The Issaquah Schools Foundation (ISF) is a well-respected fundraising organization in a community passionate about public-school education. This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic, creative, community-minded relationship builder who can help expand and diversify our funding base, enabling ISF to create even greater impact for students. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Development Manager will collaborate on the development and lead the execution of an annual fundraising plan focused on driving revenue growth from individual donors.     Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Collaborate with the Executive Director on annual fundraising and donor stewardship plan development
    • Lead the execution of the annual fundraising plan, focused on the solicitation, cultivation and stewardship of individual donors
    • Collaborate with the Executive Director on the development and execution of an annual marketing and communications plan that supports fundraising and donor stewardship goals
    • Partner with Programs staff to identify and collect impact data and stories for sharing with donors
    • In collaboration with Executive Director and Event Planner, help execute two donor events – Leadership Circle Major Donor event and large spring fundraiser.
    • Ensure timely reporting of key performance metrics to staff and Board
    • Document donor engagement and interactions in Donor Perfect

    • An influencer: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and the demonstrated ability to use emotional insight, visuals and facts to tell a compelling story
    • A data-driven decision maker: Effectively uses data to understand impact of activities and to determine priorities
    • An executor: Detail-oriented with exceptional follow-through and the ability to manage multiple priorities
    • A collaborator: Team-oriented attitude with a collaborative approach to problem-solving
    • Nonprofit fundraising/development and communications experience preferred
