    How you'll fit in:

    We are seeking a logistics and events coordinator to join the CSG Justice Center to support logistics, office management, and events coordination at our New York City headquarters. Reporting to the executive assistant to senior management, the coordinator will be responsible for supporting staff and our leadership team, assisting with travel arrangements, document management, and complex administrative coordination across divisions. This position will have a hybrid working schedule based in our New York City office, working onsite 3 days per week.

    What you'll do:

    Specific responsibilities of the logistics and events coordinator include the following:

    • Organize travel logistics for staff and travel partners, including booking accommodations, meals, preparation of logistic memos and compliance with travel policies.
    • Prepare and submit travel expense reports for the Senior Leadership Team.
    • Manage transportation accounts (car rental, rideshare), ensuring user access is up-to-date and accurate.
    • Provide phone support for the Finance, Operations, and Administration departments.
    • Manage office operations, including supplies, event materials, and mailings.
    • Coordinate with building management to address office maintenance needs.
    • Manage event production tasks, such as leading RFPs with program staff to secure venue bids, preparing estimated budgets, managing registration RSVPs, and coordinating travel and hotel accommodations.
    • Ensure on-site logistical needs are met, including supplies, equipment, and event materials including coordination of mass mailings or briefing materials. Coordinate on-site logistics, including supplies, equipment, event materials, and mailings.
    • Manage event expenses, coordinate with finance for vendor payments and reconcile event budget and expenses.
    • Lead event scheduling and attend in-person events in partnership with divisions to ensure a seamless experience for attendees and speakers.
    • Develop and manage event runs-of-show as well as on-the-ground event production and logistics.
    • Willingness to travel 4-8 times per year for work-related events outside of the NYC area.

    • Dedication to public service with an unfailing commitment to act with civility, be nonpartisan in performing CSG Justice Center duties, and be a responsible steward of member and donor funds
    • At least 1 year of relevant experience and/or equivalent educational achievements in office administration, operations, events coordination, or a related field
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Asana and/or similar project management software
    • Highly detail-oriented for basic budget, contracting, and invoicing management
    • Strong oral and written communication skills to present complex information clearly, including the ability to lead cross-functional communication among teams
    • Ability to handle and complete multiple assignments with minimal supervision in a fast-paced workplace to ensure deadlines are met and are on track
    • Excellent interpersonal and emotional intelligence skills, maturity, ability to assert influence and a proven ability to work independently and in a team
    • Reliable and secure internet/data connection and flexibility for using a personal device for internet connectivity during business travel. A cost offset is provided by CSG

    CSG believes that pay equity and pay transparency advance workplace fairness. Compensation will be equitable and based on experience and geography. The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $87,500. Salary ranges are subject to change based on work location and market conditions.

    Candidates residing in the NYC metropolitan area will be considered for hybrid model employment.
