    Description

    Position Summary:

    The Teacher Recruitment & Support Manager will be responsible for the recruitment and

    ongoing support of Teacher Fellows participating in Campus Without Walls during the late

    Winter and early Spring of 2025. This role combines elements of outreach, teacher

    engagement, training, and program support. The position involves recruiting Teacher Fellows

    for Campus Without Walls (CWW), supporting their professional development, ensuring

    program quality, and managing day-to-day logistics. This part-time role will collaborate with the

    Program Director and other team members to build a strong pipeline of Teacher Fellows,

    provide coaching and professional development, and facilitate the successful execution of the

    CWW program.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1.Teacher Recruitment & Outreach

    • Lead and manage the recruitment process for recruiting 30 Teacher Fellows
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive recruitment strategy to attract Teacher

    Fellows through various channels, including emails, social media, and

    partnerships with schools and community organizations.

    • Conduct school visits, attend recruitment events and information sessions (in

    person or virtually), and ensure that outreach activities are well-coordinated and

    effective.

    • Manage the recruitment pipeline and support Teacher Fellow registrations and

    placements through CWW's registration platform.

    2.Teacher Coaching & Support

    • Provide ongoing coaching and support for Lead Teachers and Teacher Fellows,

    ensuring high-quality instruction aligned with CWW’s mission.

    • Provide weekly check-ins with Lead Teachers to assess their progress, address

    challenges, and ensure continuous growth.

    • Schedule at least two touchpoints with Teacher Fellows to guide and support the

    implementation of their CWW unit.

    • Work with the American Institutes for Research (AIR) to ensure implementation

    of our Impact Study requirements.

    3.Communications & Marketing

    • Contribute feedback for the creation of marketing materials and strategies to

    promote CWW’s mission and engage potential Teacher Fellows.

    • Foster awareness of the program and its offerings through direct communication,

    social media, and outreach efforts.

    Qualifications:

    • Required:
    • BA or BS in education, youth development, or a related field.
    • 3+ years of experience in education, teacher recruitment, or similar fields.
    • Working understanding of teacher development, professional learning, and

    culturally responsive teaching practices.

    • Experience in project management, recruitment, and program coordination.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with

    diverse stakeholders.

    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
    • Preferred:
    • Master’s degree in education or related field.
    • Experience working with under-resourced communities and knowledge of

    Boston’s local education landscape.

    • Experience with technology platforms (e.g., WordPress) and digital learning

    tools.

    Position Details:

    • Location: Hybrid (Mostly remote, with some in-person meetings and local site visits to

    schools in Greater Boston, MA).

    • Status: Part-time (approximately 15-20 hours per week).
    • Compensation: $50-$80 per hour, depending on experience.
    • Expected Start Date: Flexible; ideally by January 20, 2025 - 30 April 2025.
