About Box United:
Box United exists to bring equitable access to transformative physical and mental wellness programming to every Chicago girl. We are the only nonprofit organization that uses the sport of boxing to transform how girls see themselves and what they think is possible in their lives. We do this through our research-backed after school boxing program, Fight Like a Girl. Fight Like a Girl was designed to help girls build powerful punches and a positive relationship with the voice inside their head. The program teaches students how to train as boxers while also mastering skills in positive body image, leadership, and social media literacy.
This role will focus on a new program in partnership with the City of Chicago designed to reach girls aged 10 and up at the greatest risk of entering the juvenile justice system. As a Program Coordinator & Boxing Coach, you will play a pivotal role in delivering our program's transformative impact while ensuring the smooth daily operation of program activities.
