    Position Overview:

    We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker (MSW preferred) to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to engage with older adults from diverse backgrounds and to help them thrive. Whether you’re looking for a full-time or part-time role, this position allows you to be part of a supportive team dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for older adults in the Princeton community.

    Key Responsibilities:

      • Provide direct social services to older adults, including counseling, case management, and advocacy.
      • Assess clients’ needs and develop personalized care plans to support aging in place, mental wellness, and access to resources.
      • Assist with navigating healthcare systems, public benefits, and long-term care options.
      • Collaborate with CMAP’s interdisciplinary team and community partners to develop programs, groups, and services to support our constituents.
      • Support outreach efforts to underserved populations, including LGBTQ+ seniors, racial and ethnic minority seniors, and those with moderate to low incomes.
      • Provide crisis intervention as needed and coordinate with family members and caregivers.
      • Stay informed about aging-related issues and best practices in social work to continually improve service delivery.

    Qualifications:

      • Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution is preferred.
      • Passion for working with older adults and understanding of the unique challenges they face.
      • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build trust and maintain confidentiality; commitment to working in a collaborative team environment.
      • Knowledge of community resources, healthcare systems, and public benefits a plus.

    Flexible FT or PT options, On-Site in Princeton, NJ and the surrounding area.
