Membership & Communications Manager (M&CM)
The Association of Clinicians for the Underserved (ACU) is adding to our team! Founded in 1996, ACU is a uniquely transdisciplinary membership network dedicated to improving the health of America’s underserved populations and supporting the clinicians that serve them.
We’re seeking someone equally committed to that cause to become our new Membership & Communications Manager (M&CM). The M&CM will serve as an integral part of ACU’s Communications, Membership, and Special Initiatives team, which propels the organization’s public-facing communications, member network, and special programmatic initiatives.
The M&CM will help drive ACU’s membership retention and recruitment efforts, helping manage, expand, and support our national network by cultivating strong relationships with members, ensuring satisfaction and retention, and driving membership growth. This staff member will also help tell our story creatively to a broader community through writing, content creation, and storytelling initiatives. Secondarily, this individual will support select initiatives to aid our network, including our Suicide Safer Care & Behavioral Health programs.
This position will report to ACU’s Senior Director of Communications, Membership, & Special Initiatives.

Location: ACU Headquarters is located in Washington, DC. This is a remote position. You must reside in one of the following states: Washington DC, Virginia, Maryland, Florida, Louisiana, Massachusetts, New York, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah
