    JOB SUMMARY

    The Finance Manager will lead daily financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, grant requirements, and organizational policies. This role supports audit readiness, risk management, and financial reporting, working closely with the CFO to align financial practices with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in nonprofit accounting, foster collaboration, and champion efficiency.

    This position will be performed primarily within a remote home office within the North Sound region of Washington. Transportation and the ability to attend occasional in-person and regional meetings (within the five-county service area) is required (approximately four per month) is required.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Five years or more of nonprofit accounting experience.
    • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation strongly preferred.
    • Experience in financial reporting, and regulatory compliance, including Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) and other relevant laws and regulations for nonprofits strongly preferred.
    • Experience supervising and/or leading individuals on a team is highly preferred.
