    Description

    The Program Benefits Coordinator is responsible for the execution of, and recordkeeping associated with the home delivery program in partnership with Swedish Hospital that allows The Friendship Center to provide hope and dignity in our community through access to food and other vital resources.

    • For Swedish Hospital program participants
      • Coordinate monthly home deliveries by adequately engaging and training volunteers
      • Provide public benefits application assistance where applicable
      • Communicate regularly with participants to better understand additional possible support areas
      • Maintain program participant records and generate reports for relevant stakeholders
      • Participate on Swedish Hospital partnership calls as needed
    • Collaborate with Public Benefits Manager and other staff to ensure efficient and compassionate service is delivered to all clients and partners

    Other similar duties as assigned

    Level of Language Proficiency

    Bilingual/ability to speak and write in one language other than English (Spanish, Arabic, Korean preferred.)

    Other requirements include:

    • 1+ years’ experience in an Operations, Service and/or Administrative role with past success.
    • Valid driver’s license
    • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to maintain records of materials, supplies, expenses, and work performed
    • Ability to multi-task with a strong sense of deadlines.
    • Ability to collaborate well and be an effective team player.
    • Strong customer service skills and willingness to assist others.
    • Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
    • Experience with data entry and spreadsheets.
    • Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
    • Committed to the organizational mission of ending hunger.
    • Willingness to work weekends and occasional evenings.
