Are you passionate about the transformative power of music and community? Envelop is searching for a dedicated Venue Manager to oversee immersive listening experiences at our pioneering flagship venue, Envelop SF. We’re seeking a passionate individual who thrives on creating inspiring events and supporting a vibrant community of artists and listeners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and host immersive listening experiences, including event setup with the Production Manager and guest check-in.
- Keep Envelop SF safe and secure for our guests and staff.
- Provide exceptional community support, addressing inquiries, nurturing relationships, and gathering feedback.
- Keep Envelop SF and our surrounding premises clean and organized.
- Set up drinks for the events, and manage cash donations.
- Collaborate with The Midway (Envelop SF is located within The Midway) on the needs and operations related to Envelop SF.
Qualifications:
- A passion for music and alignment with Envelop’s nonprofit mission: to inspire and connect community through immersive listening.
- Reside in the San Francisco Bay Area and have reliable availability on weeknights.
- Experience and interest in hospitality, event management, or community engagement.
- Confidence in working evenings and securing the premises for our guests and staff.
- A people person with strong verbal communication and listening skills.
- Independent work ethic with a collaborative spirit.
- Being detail-oriented.
- Excellent leadership and problem-solving abilities.
