    Academic Advisor

    As our Academic Advisor, you will help ensure scholars matriculate into colleges that match their academic and personal goals. Day to day, you will deliver instructional curriculum and facilitate academic preparedness to young people. You will cultivate strong relationships with teachers, counselors and caregivers in order to provide support to scholars.

    College Track is a comprehensive college completion program that equips students from underserved communities to be the first in their families to graduate with a bachelor’s degree. We do this by offering a holistic, asset-based program that invests in each of our scholars over 10 years: from high school to college, through the launch of their careers.

    • You’ll know the Academic Advisor is the right fit for you if…
    • You are passionate about delivering culturally responsive, asset-based instructional curriculum with the purpose of positively impacting 9th and 10th grade scholar academic achievement
    • You have experience facilitating academic preparedness seminars for young people to support their journeys to become lifelong learners and critical thinkers
    • You’re ready to manage a diverse caseload of ~120 high scholars, ensuring each student has the support they need to matriculate to a four-year college
    • You excel in analyzing student data
    • You are effective at building and maintaining authentic relationships with young people
    • You are comfortable navigating a Learning Management System such as Google Classroom, Coursera, and grade portals such as PowerSchool, or IIluminate.
    • You are excited about working a 100% In Person with our scholars. You’d be expected in the office 11:00-7:00 Monday-Friday.

    Compensation: This position is Full-Time, Exempt. The full compensation range for an Academic Advisor in Sacramento, CA is $56,525 - $76,475/ Year with the exact compensation depending on experience. As someone new to this role at College Track, you can expect an offer between $65,502 - $68,490 /Year to ensure internal equity while leaving room for compensation growth during your time with us.
