Position
J Street seeks a recent graduate or new professional to be our Engagement Assistant for New England and the Midwest. They should be a skilled communicator, highly organized, multi-tasker, detail-oriented, a self-starter, and comfortable working with Excel and Google Drive.
Responsibilities
The Engagement Assistant for New England and the Midwest will be a key member of a seven-person team working in fundraising, political advocacy and leadership outreach. The Engagement Assistant serves as the backbone of the team, ensuring that all plans, systems and outreach are running efficiently and effectively.

J Street is the political home for pro-Israel, pro-peace, pro-democracy Americans working for the future of Israel as the democratic homeland of the Jewish people. J Street focuses its work in three main areas: (1) Advocating and demonstrating support for pro-Israel, pro-peace policies in Congress, the media and the Jewish community; (2) Endorsing and raising money for federal candidates who share J Street’s agenda; and (3) Educating the public and raising awareness of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the two-state solution.
Compensation, Benefits and Employment Status
This is a full-time position, with occasional work outside traditional work hours on an as-needed basis. The salary for this full-time non-exempt position is $55,000-$60,000. Per J Street's Collective Bargaining Agreement, pay and title are commensurate with experience and according to pay bands outlined in our CBA. This position is currently hybrid.

There are no extraordinary physical requirements for the performance of the essential functions of this position.
