    Description

    Development Associate

    This is a full-time non-exempt position. Reporting to and working closely with the Development Director, the Development Associate provides administrative, data management, and project management support to support the station mission.

    Essential functions:

    • Manage member database software by ensuring accuracy and regular maintenance of membership database, as well as end of month reporting, thank you correspondence, accounts payable, and bank deposits in cooperation with the Finance Director and as required by financial auditors.
    • Coordinate donor email and mail communications. Ensure member communications are timely and professional.
    • Maintain station webpage and analyze website and email metrics.
    • Assist other staff with execution of the station's digital goals, such as weekday news email, voter resources and web integration, etc.
    • Assist in Underwriting including data entry in Radio Traffic, processing new orders and administration of renewals, copy entry, and maintenance of content management system
    • Administer the Day Sponsorship program
    • Assist the Development Director in developing strategies that bring in additional members, move members up in the donation level, and increase membership donations.
    • Provide front-line reception duties for incoming donor calls and walk-ins, while attending to voicemail, email, and general questions.
    • Work with staff and board members to produce and execute fundraising and promotional events.
    • Prepare and organize materials for station outreach events, ensuring staff and volunteers are equipped with the necessary resources and information. Oversee post-event processing of materials.
    • Assist in planning and managing station events, including setting up and overseeing ticketing systems.
    • Provide administrative support for three to four annual membership drives.

    Desired qualifications:

    • Experience using MS Office Software Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and Google Workplace Suite
    • Experience with Client Relations Management (CRM software).
    • Experience communicating effectively with colleagues, donors, and volunteers.
    • Experience using digital communication tools such as social media and email.
    • Must possess superlative customer service skills and strong interpersonal skills.
    • Experience meeting deadlines and balancing projects
    • Proven attention to detail, with demonstrated data entry skills with minimal errors.
    • Experience in collecting, synthesizing, and analyzing complex data, and ability to compile, analyze, and interpret data.
