The Finance Assistant is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of daily accounting and bookkeeping tasks, as well as adhering to and documenting internal controls. Reporting to the Finance and Contracts Coordinator, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for supporting the mission of our nonprofit. Additionally, they must also demonstrate a high level of confidence and professionalism. This full-time exempt position has an annual salary of $40,000 to $45,000. GK also offers affordable medical benefits, dental, and life insurance as well as paid holidays, 12 vacation days (year 1), increasing thereafter based on years of employment, 3 personal days, and 8 sick days.
