Director – Governance and Special Projects

(AO NA), a nonprofit continuing medical education organization, is searching for a Director of Governance and Special projects. This position reports to the Executive Director and serves as AO NA’s governance and project planning expert, leading governance activities and special programs to align with strategic objectives and ensure compliance. This role supports AO NA’s governance structure and leaders, including the Board of Directors (BoD) and Executive Council (EC), to drive organizational effectiveness.
The Director will liaise with and coach staff overseeing clinical division boards, committees, and working groups to enhance cohesion across leadership teams. This role will be involved with strategic planning, project management, and volunteer leadership meetings, supporting a rewarding volunteer experience within AO NA.
