The Immigration Center for Women and Children (ICWC) seeks a full-time Human Resources and Office Manager who will be based in its Los Angeles office. ICWC is a non-profit legal organization providing free and affordable immigration services to underrepresented women and children in California and Nevada. ICWC strives to provide security and stability for children who are abused, abandoned, or neglected and for immigrants who are survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, or other violent crimes. ICWC works with federal immigration laws that allow survivors to apply for work authorization, lawful permanent residency, and citizenship.
ICWC’s team is recognized nationally for its humanitarian immigration law expertise and for the exceptional legal services it provides to immigrants who are survivors of trauma. To date, ICWC has served more than 70,000 individuals. More information about ICWC is available at www.icwclaw.org.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Executive Director, the Human Resources and Office Manager will be responsible for assisting with human resources and administrative tasks as needed. This position will be the primary HR role for the organization with responsibility for employee engagement, performance management, compliance, recruitment, benefits administration, as well as a range of administrative functions as the Office Manager of the Los Angeles office. This position has been created to provide additional administrative capacity for a growing team. The successful candidate must be highly organized, energetic, and flexible to handle multiple assignments in a dynamic environment where immigration policies and funding sources are regularly shifting.
