Writing and Communications Specialist

The Shared Humanity Project is looking for a talented writer and editor to support a wide range of projects. The organization was founded in 2020 to challenge the status quo approach to poverty in the U.S. and replace it with one that works. The schedule is part-time, 20 hours per week, and the work can be done remotely.

Responsibilities include:

1. Writing website, online, and traditional mail communications
2. Editing manuscripts
3. Overseeing social media across multiple platforms
4. Researching the latest data on poverty, both nationally and on state and local levels
5. Helping with donor and foundation communications
6. Performing general marketing and outreach
