    Description

    Volunteering Opportunities

At BID Uganda we are always looking for volunteers to help us administering our programmes and get involved in the community.

    What our volunteers can expect

Our volunteers will be involved in all aspects of our organization, as we seek to provide them with a thorough understanding of our organization, the challenges we face within the community, and the impact that our projects have within the community.

This can range from preparing and delivering lessons and classes to vulnerable members of our community, through to lending a hand in our project training bricklayers and everything in between. We welcome people from all backgrounds, as we find everybody has unique experience which can be helpful to us.

    What we provide

We are able to provide comfortable and safe accommodation, and healthy and delicious local food through homestays. This allows you to become immersed in the community and get an authentic taste of real Ugandan life.

    Cost

As we are a volunteer non profit organization we do request for a small contribution of $15 per day to cover the cost of accommodation and feeding then $70 for air port pick up, however we are happy to cater to people of all situations wherever possible.
