    Description

Our organization's mission has been to provide preventative public healthcare and education to under-resourced and rural communities in South India. We are looking for international interns to spend a minimum of 4 weeks in India working on initiatives for cancer care, cancer treatment and cancer outreach.

On a typical week, interns will work with patients, doctors and nurses to understand the workings of an Oncology Department. This mix of office and field work will allow interns to both take on an observational role in the beginning of the internship and an active role during patient exposure, interaction and care.

As an organization we have been providing healthcare related programs since 2002 and love the perspective that international talent can add to the work we already doing on the ground.

    Requirements:

    • 18 and over
    • Fluent in English
    • Be interested in healthcare settings and environments
    • Be able to live and work in India for a minimum of 4 weeks
