    About the Opportunity

    As an Events and Workshops Intern, you’ll plan, coordinate, and execute events and workshops that bring people together at Sattya. This hands-on role offers practical experience in event and workshop management while directly contributing to our mission to foster creativity and collaboration.

    Responsibilities

    Event and Workshop Planning & Coordination:

    • Organize and manage events like Tea Talks, MeetUps, and Screen.IN.
    • Plan and execute workshops in collaboration with Sattya’s team and facilitators.
    • Develop event and workshop schedules, themes, and formats.
    • Coordinate logistics like venue setup, equipment, materials, and refreshments.

    Community Engagement:

    • Promote events and workshops through social media and community outreach.
    • Develop relationships with local creatives, organizations, and collaborators.
    • Engage with attendees to create a welcoming and interactive atmosphere.

    Event and Workshop Execution:

    • Oversee the setup, execution, and cleanup of events and workshops.
    • Troubleshoot issues that arise during events or workshops.
    • Ensure all participants and guests have a positive experience.

    Market Research & Innovation:

    • Research market trends and identify opportunities for new services or programs.
    • Propose approaches to expand Sattya’s reach and generate revenue.

    Skills & Qualifications

    • Strong organizational skills to plan, coordinate, and execute events and workshops.
    • Excellent communication skills to engage with attendees and collaborators
    • Creativity and enthusiasm for curating unique event and workshop experiences.
    • Ability to handle logistics, multitask, and troubleshoot during events and workshops.
    • Passion for arts, culture, and fostering community connections.
