    Key Roles and Responsibility:

    Do you want to get to know the tools of the trade of personnel selection from A to Z and apply them yourself?

    Are you interested in being part of growth and change processes?

    If you are helpful and like to work in a solution-oriented what, have an eye for detail, and like to create order and structure, then an EduCARE India NGO Volunteer internship in our HR department in Dharamshala - Kangra (Himachal Pradesh), India may just be the right placement for you with wide array of work areas, as:.

    • Help with the creation of job advertisements.
    • Updating and maintenance of various employment websites.
    • Extensive support for the entire recruiting process with a personnel-management tool / HR Operating system:
    • Screening
    • Applicant pre-selection
    • Applicant communication and management
    • Communication and coordination of selection with various departments
    • Planning and preparation of job interviews as well as participation and conducting of job interviews
    • Conceptualisation of training and knowledge-management measures.
    • Organisation of team evenings, events, and workshops.
    • Various administrative tasks.
    • Employee support: processing and answering employee queries.
    • Maintenance and updating of employee data.
    • Support for the digitization of employee data.
    • Preparation and writing of qualified job references.

    Qualifications

    Ideally, you should study behavioural economics, psychology, social sciences, HR Management, Admin, Communications or similar subjects, preferably with a focus on human resources, or have related qualifications.

    Good English language skills are required.

    You have strong communication skills as well as the necessary discretion to work with personnel data.

    You can work independently and have an eye for optimising situations.

    You identify with the goals of EduCARE India

    You would be happy to move to Dharamshala - Kangra (HP) for your internship.

    Dates / Duration:

    Start: few vacancies on rolling basis between May to December 2023 (please indicate available period)

    Period: min. 6 to max. 30 months, voluntary internships 3 months, compulsory internships up to 6 months

    Location:

    Dharamshala - Kangra (HP) - India

    The ideal candidate will be dynamic, flexible, organized, self-motivated, creative, humble, and strategic. The candidate should be friendly, sensitive and enthusiastic about the job role.

    Experience in developmental work and living abroad is preferred but not mandatory.

    Stipend:

    $30 during internship (boarding and lodging for short-medium term internship available at the facilities at nominal charge, sponsorship / scholarship available from our affiliate social enterprise paid for basic living expenses, stipend and additional performance based commission during Fellowship)
